How it works

Simple. Personal. Reliable.

01
Apply to join
Submit your family application. We review every family personally — because our nannies deserve to know who they're walking in to work for.
02
Get approved
Diana reviews your application and reaches out within 48 hours. Once approved, your family profile is on file — you never explain yourself from scratch again.
03
Request care
When you need backup care, contact Diana directly. Free members are matched based on availability. Concierge members get guaranteed dispatch.
04
She arrives
A vetted, warm, professional caregiver shows up. You pay her directly at $30/hr. No apps, no strangers, no explaining your children from the beginning.
For families

About Diana

Built by a
Westport mom.

"I built this because I lived the problem — and I knew exactly what the solution should feel like."

I'm Diana Capellan — a stay-at-home mother of two in Westport, where we moved in 2023. Before this, I earned my MPA from NYU Wagner. Now I study something more personal: what makes a family feel truly supported.

The Compo Collective was built because backup care shouldn't mean strangers. It should mean a network of trusted, professional caregivers who already know your family — and families who treat caregivers well.

I'm bilingual in English and Spanish, and I believe deeply in the professional dignity of caregiving work. This network exists to honor both sides of that relationship.

Our standards

What every nanny in our
network has completed.

01
Personal interview
Diana interviews every caregiver — screening for warmth, reliability, consistency, and professionalism. Not everyone makes it through.
02
Reference verification
References are called directly — real conversations with previous employers, not forms.
03
Background check
Comprehensive criminal history, sex offender registry, and motor vehicle record. Clean driving record required.
04
CPR & First Aid
Current certification required — proof provided at onboarding and renewed annually.
05
Vaccinations
Annual flu shot and current vaccinations required — consistent with professional healthcare worker standards.
06
Sick child care
Every caregiver is comfortable caring for children home sick from school — using protective measures. This is our standard, not an exception.
